While I was back east for the holidays, Matt, Will and I took a day to climb Mt. Garfield in New Hampshire's Presidential Range. The hike is appoximately 12 miles round trip via the Garfield Trail (2 miles longer than during the summer when Gale River Rd. is open). Weather was excellent with about 6 inches of fresh snow. More information on hiking Mt. Garfield is here.
