Exchange-O-Matic
Exchange-O-Matic is a series of worksheets I developed that calculate food exchange lists for diabetes. It can be used by persons following a diabetic diet, or anyone who would like to count his or her servings of carbohydrates, proteins, fats and calories.
Features
- Daily meal planner: counts and totals carbohydrates, fats, proteins, and calories by food type for one day of meals.
- Menu planner: calculates and summarizes carbohydrate, fat, protein and calorie counts for a specific meal.
- Printer friendly worksheets. The worksheets are date stamped and formatted to print on a single page, in color or B&W.
Exchange-O-Matic, version 1.0
This full version contains Excel macros which provide some additional functionality.
Exchange-O-Matic Lite, version 1.0
This version does not contain macros. The Menu Planner is setup for a maximum of 10 items. It might be difficult for you to add more rows unless you are handy with Excel formulas.
Easy EN TPN
Easy EN TPN is an automated calculator for enteral and parenteral formulas. You provide the dosage and/or client details (weight, height, etc.) -- and Easy EN TPN does the rest! This program was developed for instructional purposes only. The enteral formula values are subject to change by their manufacturers.
Features- Automatic calculation of six popular estimated energy equations including kcal/kg, Harris-Benedict, Ireton-Jones and Mifflin St. Jeor.
- Automatic calculation of body mass index (BMI), ideal body weight (IBW), and ideal body weight percentage.
- Algorithms to determine whether client is overweight or obese.
- Printer friendly worksheets. The worksheets are formatted to print on a single page.

Includes EN and TPN calculators. The EN is same as version 1.0; TPN is a rough draft. Please note, the values calculated in this workbook may differ slightly with your manual calculations. If you spot an error or have any comments, please let me know.
