Assignments

#1) Using Web sources, draw up and investigate a list of 15 programs to which you might apply and write 2 or 3 sentences explaining why you chose each. Your list should include some programs to which you think you will likely be admitted. Bring list to class on 2/8.

#2) Identify two programs on your list above and write a 2-page personal statement for each. Upload it to Webboard no later than 2/14. Read and download all personal statements on Webboard and bring copies to class on 2/15.

#3) Revise a paper from one of your classes to use as a writing sample of 15-18 pages. Upload it to Webboard no later than 3/6. Read and download all writing samples on Webboard and bring copies to class on 3/8.
