Black and white equal

Description
Exercise 4.1.4 is a selection exercise based on the achromatic gamut.

Terms
(1) achromatic (2) gamut (see Glossary).

Task
Mix black and white to make a gray of your choice that falls within the simplex gamut.

Considerations
  • What is your gray lightness position to the gray gamut?
  • What is your gray lightness position to the simplex-color lightness gamut?

Notes
The achromatic (gray) scale may be omitted since your gray relates to the achromatic (white-to-black) gamut.
