Black and white equal

Description
Exercise 5.1.2 is a mixing/matching exercise based on your gray lightness.

Terms
no new terms

Task
Mix four colors of your choice to match the lightness of your gray from Exercise 4.1.4.

Considerations
  • What is the lightness relationship among your colors and gray?
  • What are the hue relationships among your colors?
  • What are the saturation relationships among your colors?
  • What is the quantity relationship among your colors and gray?
  • What is the edge quality among your colors and gray?

Notes
The edges between the gray and colors show the match quality. A softer edge is a better match. A sharp edge shows that there is no match.
