Welcome to the homepage for Bruce's English 101 class. FYI this class uses the new rhetoric, literacy and culture curriculum developed by Drs. Sharon Crowley, Katherine Heenan, and Patricia Webb. I will try to keep this page as current as possible and offer class material on the web.
Syllabus Change:
Instead of holding regular classes on November 24th and 29th, I will be holding conferences in my office (LL 317) to prepare you for assignment 4. These conferences replace class on 11/24 and 11/29. If you miss your conference you will loose participation points equivalent to four class meetings. You need to bring your polished drafts for assignments 1 and 2, your responses to my comments on your graded papers, and the assignment sheet for assignment 4.
