I am a Research Fellow at the Arizona Learning and Literacy Center (ALLC) Supported by the Scottish Rite Foundation of AZ.  I am currently serving as the Director of the Adult Literacy Program at the ALLC and I head their newly

established Perceptual Neuro-science Lab

 

The ALLC provides comprehensive research based screenings, diagnosis, and treatment for individuals with speech/language and reading disabilities throughout the greater Phoenix area.

Takeo takes an interdisciplinary approach to studying vision, including psychophysics, functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), and computational modeling. His specialties include: motion perception, attention, perceptual learning, categorization learning, motion-form interaction, neon color spreading, and neural modeling.
