Humanities and Arts offers two new bachelor's degrees: “History and Culture," and “Literature, Writing, and Film." Students are currently being accepted into both majors.

Work with a variety of tools and build observational skills working through a sequence of projects that include both a traditional and contemporary approach. Sharpen your skills with value, perspective and composition. Build both a personal portfolio and experience drawing on a large-scale project with the class. Beginners are welcome.

From beginning as a small sect within Judaism to becoming the largest religion in the world, the Christian tradition has expressed itself in various paradigms over the past 2,000 years. In this course we will inquire after its essence and examine its historical development, as well as major themes and practices. We will use a video series to guide our discussions and an easy to use textbook to focus our attention to the significant details and broad movements of this diverse faith.
