The following cities have populations over 100,000.

Phoenix is bigger than San Diego, San Jose, San Francisco, and Long Beach.
Mesa is comparable to or bigger than Oakland, Santa Ana, Anaheim, and Riverside. 
Glendale is bigger than Fremont and Glendale.
Scottsdale is bigger than Glendale, Huntington Beach, Modesto, and San Bernardino.
Chandler is bigger than Chula Vista, Oxnard, Garden Grove, and Oceanside.
Tempe is bigger than Ontario, Santa Clarita, Salinas, and Pomona.
Gilbert is bigger than Costa Mesa.
Peoria is bigger than Downey, West Covina, Daly City, and Berkeley.

All of these cities are bigger than Berkeley and Burbank.

According to Census 2000: Actual Population Statistics

Phoenix (1,321,045) is bigger than:
          San Diego (1,223,400), San Jose (894,943), San Francisco (776,733), and Long Beach (461,522).

Mesa (396,375) is comparable to or bigger than:
          Oakland (399,484), Santa Ana (337,977), Anaheim (328,014), and Riverside (255,166). 

Glendale (218,812) is bigger than:
          Fremont (203,413) and Glendale (194,973).

Scottsdale (202,705) is bigger than:
          Glendale (194,973), Huntington Beach (189,594), Modesto (188,856), and San Bernardino (185,401).

Chandler (176,581) is bigger than:
          Chula Vista (173,556), Oxnard (170,358), Garden Grove (165,196), and Oceanside (161,029).

Tempe (158,625) is bigger than:
          Ontario (158,007), Santa Clarita (151,088), Salinas (151,060), and Pomona (149,473).

Gilbert (109,697) is  bigger than:
          Costa Mesa (108,724).

Peoria (108,364) is bigger than:
          Downey (107,323), West Covina (105,080), Daly City (103,621)), and Berkeley (102,743).


All of these cities are bigger than Berkeley (102,743) and Burbank (100,316).
