Current Research
Recently, I have been involved in an interdisciplinary effort to understand the causes of intraplate magmatism in the High Lava Plains of central and eastern Oregon. For my part, I am analyzing receiver functions in order to constrain the topography on the 410 and 660 km seismic discontinuities and to estimate mantle transition zone thickness over the region.
