Biography

The information on Miss Stenwall is sketchy at best. She was the music supervisor in Monmouth, Illinois in 1907, at the time of the Keokuk conference. In 1914, she listed her residence as Cedar Falls, Iowa. In 1916, she moved to St. Louis. Missouri. She attended the MSNC Conference in 1907, 1914, 1916-1919, 1922, 1923, 1925-1932, 1935, 1936, and 1938.

Miss Stenwall is found in the St. Louis city directory in the years 1939, 1940 and 1947/48. In 1939, she is listed as the Assistant Supervisor, St. Louis Board of Education. In 1940, she is listed as teacher, p.s. (public school). In 1947/48, she is listed as teacher, Fremont School (an elementary school). There is no listing for her in the 1952 directory.
