Cooperative installation with all parties involved

We are working out the possible sequence for the first 20 tiles now.  As there are 400 settings, we envision one repeating graphic motif, which will open into 20 different worlds.  Our challenge is to open up that one graphic--the river--into all the lives and stories and senses it will give us.  Each sequence will open and close with the same central graphic.  The next sequence will begin with that finishing central graphic as its starting point.  We also plan a series of appropriate mapping tiles, or "Río Rosetta Stones," which will--on one tile--group all the relevant, related images, providing a key to understanding their sequence.  This is a quiet incarnation of nautical astronomy, the science of locating oneself at sea.
