In this course, students participate in an internship through the Department
of English. There are two types of internships: Regular and Writing Certificate.
Students work in a business, government agency, or nonprofit group and
report their activities to me. In addition, they keep a log, read a text about the
processes of becoming an effective and confident worker, and meet with other
interns to share their experiences. Look at a recent syllabus for the course here.
