  • I like to learn new languages, currently I am working on my French. Here are some resources that I have found useful in my quest of learning French: Imagier.net (Imagier YouTube channel), Coffee Break French podcasts. Also here are links to couple easy-to-read French books: Le Petit Nicholas by René Goscinny and Le Petit Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. Do let me know what resources have worked for you!

  • I believe, War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy is one of the greatest literary works of all time. The book is full of powerful scenes which Tolstoy delivers with stark reality. It ends with two epilogues, one is on the fictional story in the book and the other is basically Tolstoy's philosophical musings on history, wars and life in general. It makes for an interesting read. So if you haven't already, do have a go at the second epilogue. Here's a link, and if you rather prefer listening to it - an audio link.

  • I enjoy traveling to new places. In my lifetime, I want to cover as many countries as I possibly can! Below is the map of countries I have visited so far (as of 2016). You can create your own map too!

  • Also, some useful resources for graduate students: Anita Borg Institute, CRA-W
