I am an Associate Professor in the School of Life Sciences at Arizona State University.  I am a member of the Human Dimensions of Biology faculty group, and associated with the History and Philosophy of Science program.

I am also affiliated with the Philosophy program in the School of Historical, Philosophical and Religious Studies.

My research interests are in decision theory, the philosophy of science, and epistemology.
