Using CD-ROM discs and drives

You can use the built-in CD-ROM drive with the Mac or PC. To open the drive, gently push the button located on the lower right-hand side of the CD-ROM drive. Place the CD you want to use into the drive and gently push the button to close it.

On the Mac, an icon representing the CD will automatically appear on the desktop. Double-click on the icon to access the files on the disc. When you are done with the CD, simply select it and drag it to the Trash Can. The CD will be ejected by the drive.

On the PC, place the CD into the drive as explained above. On the Windows95 desktop, click on My Computer. The CD-ROM icon should appear. Double-click on this icon to access the files on the disc. When you are done with the CD-ROM, press Command-Y to eject the CD.
