1991 History of Biology: Modern Evolutionary Biology Major themes of the history of post-Darwinian biology, especially in the 20th century, were addressed through lectures, discussion, workshops, historical laboratories and field trips led by a faculty of historians, philosophers, and biologists. The course explored the theories and practice of evolutionary biology, looking at the impact on biology and on society more generally.
