Despite the simple and short name, some greatness has been bestowed
upon me. And with greatness has come some failure and mediocrity. I
was born in a humble abode in Mesa, Az and this is where I have spent
most of my days. For a short two year stint, I served an LDS mission in
the Baltimore ,MD. Most have called me a chameleon. I can play
whatever role is needed, some better than others. I know a little about
a lot, and know a lot about little. Amateur at all, master at few.
Right now I am choosing between an MBA or a law degree. At this
fleeting moment I am partial to a law degree, specializing in corporate
law, mergers and acquisitions.
Some credentials to my name are Eagle Scout, loan officer, weekend
warrior, and shark hunter ( it's a great story). Most difficult and
enjoyable time dating 2 girls and once and trying to get through the
semester.
Thanks, you've been a great crowd.

Well, let's see... I was actually born in India, when my parents were
visiting family over there. I really don't want to bore you with what
happened during grade school and high school. Actually, I do have an
interesting story: My family and I were scheduled to be on a plane which was
supposed to come from Michigan to Arizona. We actually were late for the
flight and it turned out that was the flight that crashed in Michigan. Other
than that, luckily, I have not had any life threatening experiences, unless
the time I caused a brawl at a movie theater (happened twice). These are
pretty funny stories, so if you want to know what happened, just ask.
I attended Brophy for high-school and I went to UofA for my freshman year of
college. I saw the light, and I decided to attend ASU after my freshman
year. I have had internships in asset management, financial advising and
venture capital. Currently, I am interested in breaking into venture
capital, but that will be a hard task. So I am open to any suggestions.

I was born in Frankfurt, West Germany (no more east and west today) and
spent about six out of my first ten years there. I spoke pretty good German
until the fourth grade, then we moved back to the states and my peers did
not seem to think a German accent was very cool so I worked pretty hard to
lose it. I spent 7th, 8th, and 9th grade in England, the Oxfordshire area
(RAF Upper Heyford), and came back to the states with a Brit. accent, which
seemed to be okay with everybody, but I still worked pretty hard to lose it.
After graduating from High School, I decided that continuing education was
out of the question and went straight to the work-force. Eleven years later
and one year after my son was born, I decided that continuing education was
a good idea and enrolled in a Management class at MCC. Received an AA in
Management and enrolled in the Business program in Finance at ASU and today
I am writing a "Who are we?" autobiography.
I like to play racquetball as often as I can. During the semester it
seems that I don't get to play as much as I would like (go figure). I try
to get to the gym at least three times a week but try is the operative word.
I am also involved with the Boy Scouts of America program and am currently
the Webelos Coordinator and Den Coach. I have about 40 boys in five dens
that I am responsible for their advancement into the Webelos program and
ultimately to their Arrow of Light, which is the highest award a Cub Scout
can receive. We also hike and camp as often as we can.
I currently work full time at Home Depot and am their flooring
expeditor, which means I babysit the flooring sale and installation from
beginning to end. When I am not doing the expediting thing, I am also the
Wellness Coordinator and Team Depot representative for our store. As the
Wellness Coordinator, I make sure all health and wellness issues are made
available to all associates in the store. For example, in February we have
the American Heart Association's Heart Walk and the American Cancer
Society's Cancer Climb Feb.19th and 26th respectively and I coordinate the
store's participation in both. As the Team Depot rep. I am responsible for
community relations and participation in community projects such as Habitat
for Humanity and any non-profit organization's projects that fall within
Home Depot's priorities.
This semester I am taking three 3hr. courses and one 1hr. course. These
courses include REA 380, REL 320, FIN 481 (obviously), and COB 492. I am
going to take courses in both summer sessions and will complete my honors
thesis and graduate in the fall of 2000.

Born and raised in Oregon (GO DUCKS!! Brownie points for Mike...), I am
still adjusting to the dry, hot, monotonous weather that is in Arizona. Does
it ever rain, and when it does, does that nasty smell ever go away? These are
just a few of the questions that occupy my mind. We won't go into the others,
that could take a while. I love sports of anykind, but I especially enjoy
tennis, golf, and basketball. However, there are those days when golf can be
the most frustrating game in the world, I'm sure that you fellow golfers out
there can sympathize with my pain. I enjoy a changing environment, this can
be seen by Arizona State being my third college since out of high school. Let
me remind you that this is also my third year since out of high school.
Former schools include Southern Oregon University for one trimester, and
Oregon State University for the following two(GO BEAVS, Sorry Mike). Arizona
State is a keeper, at least for the remainder of my undergraduate studies.

I was born on a cold night in Keflavik, Iceland. I moved to
Tucson, AZ when I was two years old and have been living there since. I
came to Arizona State University because of the scholarships offered and
the Honors College. Right now,
I am looking forward to graduating and moving on to law school to pursue
a career in contract negotiation and corporate law.

I was born and raised in a small town in Minnesota. I have
one brother who is 20. He is going to school to be an
electrician. He will live in Minnesota forever and marry
his high school sweetheart. My parents moved in October to
our "cabin." So I no longer have my own room - just the
guest room - when I go to visit. I will be graduating in
May with a double major in finance and economics. Next year
I will be attending law school somewhere on the west or east
coast. Someday I want to have a house on the beach and a
job I actually look forward to going to.

If I was one of the seven dwarves, I would definitely be Bashful, so
assignments like this one are much more difficult than they should be. But,
here goes....
Originally from Pennysylvania, I moved to Gilbert, AZ in 1985 and graduated
from Gilbert High School in 1996. I've been at ASU since the fall of that
year and will graduate this May. I'm currently working as an intern at
Salomon Smith Barney in Phoenix, where I work from 5:45AM to 9:45AM every
weekday. So, if I seem a little Grumpy, it's because of that and because I
have a 12:15-1:30, a 1:40-4:30, a 4:40 to 5:55, and a 6:05 to 8:55 class on
Thursdays. I'm rarely not in a good mood, though. :)
I'm not really sure what else to say. If, for some reason, you're curious to
see if I do have a personality, you can check my website at
http://www.public.asu.edu/~krepitch
It's not great, but it's something. My resume is there, too, and please feel
free to pass it on to anyone who may be interested.

I was born in Buffalo, New York and moved to Rochester (still NY) when I
was four. I lived there for my a majority of my life, spending time
playing ice hockey and golfing. ASU became my school of choice for
several reasons. I wasn't allowed to go any farther from home, and I
figured it would be nice to see the sun, something which rarely happens
in Rochester, as Professor Hertzel surely knows. I enjoy golfing and
hockey as well as driving on back roads to relax. After graduation, I
plan to go back east for a number of years, working in NYC and obtaining
an MBA. After that, I hope to travel to Australia and work there for a
few years, then return to the States and retire someplace where I can
relax and be myself.

I am a native to Arizona born and raised in Mesa. I enjoy going to a
barage of events including sporting events and concerts. My parents
origianlly from Ny, I was a forced to become a New York
Yankees and New York Giants fan. I try to esacpe Phoenix whenever possible
and have excursions in Jamaica, Hawaii, and Europe.
That's all
Casey Carpenter
I was born and raised here in Tempe. I graduated from Marcos de Niza
High School in 1997. After securing a couple of scholarships for ASU during
high school, I made the decision to begin my academic career with the
University Honors College and Business Honors Program. I enjoy golfing,
eating at nice restaurants, and attending collegiate and professional
sporting events. My parents and two older brothers are from Oregon. My
younger brother and I were born down here. My oldest brother graduated from
California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, California with a degree in
biology and currently enjoys a career with a rapidly expanding biotech firm
called Amgen. The second of my two older brother graduated from ASU with a
degree in family studies. My parents both attended the University of Oregon.
My dad obtained a degree in secondary education as well as his Master's in
counseling. He went on to get a Master's Degree in theology from Fuller
Seminary followed by an Ed.D (Doctor of Education) from ASU about 6 years
ago. He continues to enjoy the counseling/psychology private practice he
started about 20 years ago. My youngest brother is attending San Diego State
University and plans to major in International Business.
As for my plans, I plan to spend another semester or two at ASU before
deciding on a career in finance/business or law. I am currently researching
law schools and beginning to prepare for my LSATs. I would like to obtain
some type of internship in financial consulting this summer to help me decide
on my career plans. I have not started my thesis yet, but I'm looking at
legal issues in collegiate and professional sports as a possible topic. I
look forward to enjoying my last two semesters at ASU before having to enter
the real world (unless I decide on law school).
