Costs

The program fee of $2,955.00 (estimated for summer 2012) covers the six week program, including the following: room, lunch Monday-Thursday, one-day excursions to Siena and one to a Tuscan castle in the Chianti area. The program fee is subject to change if necessary.

Not included in the overall fee are transportation costs to and from Italy (for tips on booking your flight, click here), most meals, tuition and registration, passport fee, school supplies, individual museum visits, books and individual travel.

Since personal spending habits vary greatly, it is difficult to estimate how much you want to spend over and above the program fee. However, $30-35 a day should be sufficient for the needs of most students (excluding transportation to and from Europe, extensive traveling, and purchasing of gifts).

Program participants must enroll for a minimum of 6 credit hours and a maximum of 7 credit hours. Tuition, which is not included in the program fee, is the same as for on-campus courses.

Please note that tuition is billed separately from Program costs, and that students are responsible for enrolling in the desired courses themselves, just as they would for on-campus courses.
