Hello,I am an M.S. Computer Science graduate student studying at Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering, Arizona State University, Tempe and will be graduating in May 2011. For the last two years I have been working as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Center of Cognitive Ubiquitous Computing (CUbiC), a research lab at ASU that focuses on developing pervasive computing solutions for the physically challenged. At CUbiC I have been working on the pattern recognition side of building an Accelerometer based Hand Gesture Recognition System for detecting cooking activities. My research has been focused at exploring the use of Transfer Learning to minimize the classification errors of the system when used by different users and in different environments. Areas that interest me include information retrieval, recommendation, advertising, data mining, data visualization and web development. More information on my education and experience can be found in my CV. Thanks for stopping by. Let me know if you have any questions or comments. |
