Aron Cummings is a certified instructor of the International Kokondo Association (IKA),
and is also certified in First Aid and CPR for the Professional Rescuer. He
began his training in the IKA in 1997 under Sensei Sheldon Shirey in Pullman, WA.
He currently holds the rank of sandan (3rd-degree black belt) in Kokondo Karate
and nidan (2nd-degree black belt) in Jukido Jujitsu.
Outside the dojo, Aron is working on his PhD in electrical engineering at Arizona
State University. His research focuses on how the principles of nanoscale
physics may be used for computing applications.
