In the International Kokondo Association, we strive not only for perfection of technique but also perfection of character. To that end, we follow a set of ideals that stems from the days of the samurai - the seven codes of Bushido. Bushido literally means "the way of the warrior." By applying these codes to every aspect of one's life, a martial artist will learn to comport oneself both responsibly and respectably. The seven codes are:
