The International Kokondo Association (IKA) was founded by Shihan Paul Arel
in 1970, and is the umbrella organization that includes both Kokondo Karate
and Jukido Jujitsu. The world headquarters (Honbu) of the IKA is located in
South Windsor, CT. Over the course of its history, the IKA has included member
dojo all over the United States, and international members in numerous countries, including
Finland, Great Britain, Belgium, Israel, the Philippines, Spain, Portugal,
Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, and Norway. For more information on the founder of
