4/23/07 Injuries ultimately doomed my beloved Knicks. Plus I can't rememeber a season in the last 15-20 years that they lost so many really close games. Bottom line now...get rid of Steve Francis since he doesn't give the impression he is in this thing to win...hopefully his and Malik Rose's contracts are in their final years. Isiah needs to either let their salaries drop off the books, or horn-swaggle the T-Wolves into taking their expiring contracts and Channing Frye for KG (not going to happen). I believe Vince Carter is a free agent after this season (could be wrong), and if he is, with Q-Richardson's chronically bad back, Vince would look DAMN good in a Knicks uniform. Renaldo Balkman was a hell-of-a-find! The guy is a MANIAC, MAAAANIAC on the floor!!!! (that's from Flashdance for you non-80s fans). Just like David Lee, the best rebounder in the league...Kudos to Zeek! A starting five of Steph, Jamal, Balkman, Lee, and Curry will be lethal if they can stay healthy. Nice mix of offense and defense. If Eddie Curry ever starts rebounding with any consistency and learns how to blocks a few shots, the Knicks will win a title in 2008. But since all that is unlikely, they will definitely be in the playoffs, barring injury. Bring Nate Rob, Collins, Q, and Channing Frye (who has alot to prove next year) off the bench and use Jerome James' six-fouls on playoff probables Dwight Howard, Chris Bosh, and Shaq. The statistics don't lie. Though this information may or may not have been gathered scientifically, it illustrates a valid point. The United States spends more money on prisons than on public education. Much of this wasteful spending is done because of the hundreds of thousands of individuals who have long prison sentences for marijuana possession. Read an interesting news article on how and why marijuana became illegal and why the laws are obsolete. Also read about former Texas narcotics officer Barry Cooper, and his new controversial video "Never get Busted Again."
