Background InformationI have always been fascinated with the creative process, taking an idea from thought to the final execution. This fascination was what prompted me to study photography. Photography has given me both worlds: coming up with the concept and using various tools to achieve the final image. After receiving my Bachelor of Arts degree from Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, CA, I packed my bags and headed to Phoenix, AZ. My objective, like any other recent college graduate, was to find a job that allowed me to be involved in the creative process. Since moving to Phoenix, I have had the opportunity to teach design principles at a graphic design college, work with art directors through various freelance jobs, and learn more about digital imaging and web site development. Currently, I work in the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost at Arizona State University. As part of ASU's Web Project Team, I work on various University web projects. These projects are varied and often include creative graphic design, web site design, and photography. |
