Fall 2006:
ChE543 Thermodynamics of Chemical Systems
This course provides a review of classical thermodynamics by beginning with Newtonian mechanics and deriving all thermodynamical properties through the use of postulates.

The objective of this course are three fold:
    1. Enable deep comprehension of classical thermodynamics. This involves applying concepts to different areas than originally exposed and understanding the limitations of the calculations.
    2. Provide framework to solve complex chemical engineering problems with thermodynamic concepts.
    3. Demonstrate applicability of thermodynamics to real problems
