I have graded your 2nd test. On Monday I will go over the 2nd
test and distribute your answer papers.
Demos and final project report: Please make sure you
show me the demo by Friday, Dec 5th. In addition, please send me a link
to your project report by class time on Monday Dec 8th.
I will be out of town from 11/4/03 -- 11/7/03. So
office hours on 11/4 are cancelled, class on 11/5 will be
taken by one of my student/RA and he will cover Progol and
learning AnsProlog.
Email homework 3 to TA. His email address is namtran @ asu.edu.
(remove the blanks around @)
I have added pointers to classnotes that I have received.
If yours is not pointed to then it means I could not find it in my email
files. Please email them to me again. If you never sent it to me,
for this time I will not take off any points if you
submit by 6 PM 10/24/03 (this Friday). 10/22 noon
Homework 2 has been assigned. 9/25 8:33 PM.
You may make your notes in any of the following formats:
plain text, doc, latex, ppt. This will allow me to make
changes and corrections before posting.
I would prefer Latex, but there is no extra points for that.
If you decide to use Latex, then the
directory has an example file and couple of style files that
you can use. If you do not have access to latex you may
download and use
Miktex and Winedt in PCs. (Latex is a good language for
writing mathematical expressions and symbols. So learning it is handy.)
The note taking assignments are listed in the Classnotes, Slides
section. The notes are due one week after the class. You will be graded on
the notes. So take care in making and organizing the notes.
The notes for the days Sept 3, 8 and Aug 27th are due Sept 15th.
(In the lottery I handed out in the class, some people had 2 days and
others had 3. I had mised some dates. So now every one
has three dates to take notes. Please check your dates.)
Reading assignments are listed in the Homeworks section. 8/28/03.
