Computer Architecture Syllabus

CSE 420 is introductory course to computer architecture. The topics to be covered include fundamentals of computer design, performance and cost, instruction set architecture, processor technology, pipelining, memory system (caches, virtual memory), input/output systems and bus communications, and parallel processors.

Students may discuss homework and programming assignments with their classmates; however all work turned in is expected to be that of the individual. If you have any questions regarding appropriate collaboration please see the instructor.
Late submission of work is not permitted without a documented justification (medical or family emergency).
