Education
Miss Samuels is a 2008 HON/Phi Theta Kappa graduate of Gateway Community College in Phoeniz, AZ, where she received her AA degrees in English and General Studies. She also studied with the City of Spires Study Abroad Program in 2008 & 2009, attending Art History and Psychology of Religion lectures at Prague College in the Czech Republic.

Awarded the Maroon & Gold Scholarship, Samuels transferred to Arizona State University and Barrett, The Honors College in Spring 2009, where she is currently studying courses specific to Broadcast Journalism and Multimedia including Broadcast Writing, Videography, Online Media and in fall 2010, Documentary Production. Samuels expects to graduate with honors in spring 2012.

In fall 2009, Samuels interned as a writer/reporter for College Times Magazine, where she wrote feature articles, calendar events, editorials and a front page story.

In spring 2010, Samuels began her research in preparation for her Honors Thesis Defense for fall 2010. In summer 2010, Samuels will study abroad with Barrett Honors College, attending lectures in Culture & Society and Romantics, Victorians & Moderns in London, Dublin and Edinburgh.
