My current major is Graphic Information Technology (GIT). It's basically a graphic design major on steroids, because I get a little bit of everything - web design, photography, animation, graphic design, and a LOT of Adobe Products. We love Adobe here in the GIT department. You can see a basic outline of my classes on my check sheet, but these classes I did some work that is actually worthy of going in a portfolio, so I've uploaded it here.

My current check sheet is here: blank and filled in (these are in pdf format).

I used to be a Computer Hardware Engineering Technology (CET/CST) major, but I got to my second level of core courses and realized that if I had to program for the rest of my life, I was going to shoot myself. Or my computer. I hated java programming and still do, which is why sometimes it boggles my mind that I enjoy HTML and javascript coding so much.

So far, the class that I have taken pertaining the most to this website is, of course, GIT337: Website Design. Some of the links that are/were on the navigation go to pages designed & coded as assignments. A couple of these are actually useful, and something I would have on my page anyways, but others don't fit in that category, so I have moved them here:

Purchase - the assignment was to "create an order form Web page so that customers can purchase products online." I chose a desktop computer because they come with lots of options, and I need one. :P

Portfolio - the assignment was to design a photo gallery without using tables. It was to have thumbnails linking to the full size picture, caption, and copyright.

Links - the assignment was to create a page of links, seperate them into three sections, and make use of internal and external hyperlinks. This it the ORIGINAL.

WoW - the assignment was to "create a table that has at least 3 columns and 10 rows." This is the ORIGINAL page; the current one has been updated to reflect changes in the character, and the game.

This was done as a final project - a cleaning website for a client's small business, and the best sites were submitted to her after grading was done.
