Cynthia Hogue reads from Beauty Is a Verb: The New Poetry of Disability (just named a Notable Book for 2012 by the ALA--American Library Association, http://ala.org/news/pr?id=9095), an anthology of disability poetry, essays on disability, and writings on the poetics of both. She is a contributor to this anthology. Louise Nayer, longtime educator and author of the award-winning Burned: A Memoir, reads from her book about a family tragedy and ultimate resilience and answers questions about her journey to publication.
