Modern journalism requires more than investigation, writing skills and a thirst for the truth. It takes an undertanding of the changing media landscape. Journalist has become a more fluid job title, requiring new and diverse skills while still perserving objectivism and news judgment. New mediums and methods only present more opportunity. Channing Turner has the journalistic skills to give stories a voice and the multimedia tools to make audiences listen.

Channing has worked for The Arizona Republic, The State Press and The Washington Post newspapers, covering beats from politics to breaking news to arts & entertainment. He has experience writing for print and web publications, as well as web page design, photo production, and photo editing. He currently attends Arizona State University where he studies journalism, political science, philosophy and law.
