Chris Lukinbeal’s senior/first year graduate level course, Cinematic Geographies, explored political, social, economic, cultural and societal effects of cinema and media at a personal, national and global scale. Chris and his teaching assistant David Nelson, worked with their three student groups who created short documentaries on geographic topics related to the Phoenix area and to the raison d’être of the project itself.
