Cammie Sammartino
Cammie is a Junior in the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication with a concentration in print. She is also double-majoring in sociology and hopes to attend graduate school for social work after she graduates from ASU in May 2010.

Her work experience has been primarily focused on magazines; a field she hopes to get into after graduation. She has worked in various areas of magazine writing, including entertainment, living, editing, fact-checking and working closely with PR firms. She has also written freelance articles for The Arizona Republic as well as the East Valley Tribune.

Having traveled to Italy twice to visit family, Cammie has developed a deep appreciation for other cultures and hopes to work for a travel magazine in the future. By visiting other countries, Cammie hopes to be able to share her experiences with others through her writing to foster an understanding across societies.

Cammie's strong sense of responsibility, determination to succeed and enthusiasm for learning have helped her become a journalist who can find a story in anything or anyone.
