Cammie graduated from Higley High School in Gilbert, Arizona in 2006. During her senior year of high school, she took a journalism class that persuaded her to pursue journalism as a career.

Here at ASU, Cammie has interned for three magazine companies as well as written single stories for The Arizona Republic and The East Valley Tribune. She has interned with College Affair Magazine; Media That Deelivers and most recently, Phoenix Magazine.

Through each internship, she has become more proficient in different areas emphasized by her employers. Her media experiences--both magazine and newspapers--have helped her develop a better understanding of the journalism industry.

With the advent of new technology and its merger with journalism, Cammie is proficient with many social media sites, including Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, etc. and utilizes these sites to further her research and enrich her stories.
