Infosys Technologies Limited, Bangalore, India Software Engineer, Aug 04 – Jul 06 ‘Graphic Application’ (Client - The Boeing Company) • Core member of a team of twelve, developing a Windows based Graphic Application using C++/Qt/OpenGL. The application is used for creating airplane designs and user manuals. It is based on the MVC architecture and uses CGM format for storing data. • Designed and developed modules of Print using Postscript, Callout Objects etc. Successfully integrated the modules with the SGI UNIX Legacy system. • Controlled the configuration of the project by frequent audits and was responsible for its quality and the standard of its execution. Successfully cleared the EN/AS9100 audit, a stringent aerospace certification and in compliance with CMMI level 5 • Award of Excellence for the project from Infosys • Two Awards for Outstanding performance from Boeing ‘PM Tool’ • Developed an internal Project Management tool for Infosys with JSP and Oracle. Gas Turbine Research Establishment, Defense R&D, Bangalore, India Project Intern, Feb 04 – Jun 04 • Developed ‘Integrated Engine Fault Diagnostic Model’, a method to quantitatively detect faults in gas turbines using VB, C++. • The VB application read the faulty turbine data and compared it with the repository to arrive at the probable fault areas. The application used Matlab for training the neural networks. • Developed a Graphical interface to highlight the parts of the turbine that could be faulty and also created detailed result as a text file in a format understandable by other systems. • Developed modules of various Gauges to display the measured values. Maruthi-IT.com, Bangalore, India Project Intern, Feb 03 – Jun 03 • Designed and developed an intranet ‘Employee complaint and grievances’ portal using Dreamweaver, ASP and MS Access. The portal is for providing a forum and encouraging the employees to participate and submit their complaints and grievances. The portal assured timely responses. Developed a method for escalations and also mailing services.
