In addition to the standard adjectival endings, Russian has a series of soft adjectives. The are conjugated like this:

The vast majority of soft adjectives have spatial or temporal meaning, although there are a few common exceptions such as си́ний ‘dark blue’, и́скренний ‘sincere’, ка́рий ‘brown’ (said of eyes), лишний ‘extra, superfluous’, будний ‘weekday; everyday’ and за́мужний ‘married’ (said of women). The most common soft adjectives are:
