Digital Teaching Unit Collection (University of Oregon)

As a Research Associate for the Feminist Humanities Project, an initiative of the University of Oregon’s Center for the Study of Women in Society, I have been active in producing, designing and implementing a series of humanities-based digital projects that delivers current research on gender and women’s lives with an eye on providing up-to-date information for inclusion in daily curricula.

This collection, referred to as Digital Teaching Units, represents particularly intriguing and thought-provoking facets from a larger set of issues and questions representative of women’s experience. Some particularly poignant examples from this collection can be viewed at the following URLs (username and password available upon request -- please visit the Wired Humanities Project at the University of Oregon to inquire about access:

A Poetry of Science. The Life and Works of Hildegard of Bingen, produced in collaboration with Jan Emerson, CSWS.
