Past Faculty Technology Workshops

Spring Semester 2006 - In lieu of a mini-workshop focused on a specific software application or other technique, we will be offering 3 drop-in clinics during the Spring 2006 semester. The format will be an open one, and will allow you to work on a current information technology-based project (website, presentation, image design, materials creation) in a setting in which you can have one-to-one assistance.

Format:

Open, drop-in, format in which you bring IT-based projects to work on in an individual basis. The clinic format will provide you with face-to-face time for questions you have as you work on your projects.

Participant Requirements:

Meant for DLL faculty members who are about to begin an IT-based project, or for those who have ongoing IT- based projects.

Mini Workshop

Workshop Focus:

Dreamweaver MX 2004 - web design

Other Techniques:

Participant Requirements:

  1. must have an outline for a simple project, i.e. interactive syllabus, faculty profile, &c.
  2. must have developed text content for project
  3. must have digital versions of at least one image for use in project
  4. if using hyperlinks to extant websites: must have URLs typed and ready to use
