
Dan Neligh is a broadcast-oriented multimedia journalist and entrepreneur enrolled at ASU’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. He is an honors student expecting to graduate in 2012 with a master’s degree in journalism and a bachelor’s degree in economics.
Neligh graduated from Lakewood High School in Colorado with a full International Baccalaureate diploma. He spent four years participating in competitive speech and debate and three years writing for his school newspaper, of which he was editor his senior year.
Neligh’s broadcast experience began in high school during his senior year, where he anchored the school’s daily televised news segment. At Arizona State University, he spent his first year anchoring Press Pass, the news segment on the school’s radio station The Blaze. In August of 2009 he began work as an intern at KNXV-TV (ABC 15) in Phoenix, and in spring of 2010 he will intern at KTVK-TV (3TV) as an online multimedia journalist.
In February of 2009, Neligh co-founded downtowndevil.com, a news website for Downtown ASU students. He runs the website along with four other ASU students. The site publishes daily content on weekdays and breaking news on weekends.
