Emily Bratkovich is a student at Arizona State University earning a B.A. in Journalism & Mass Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations and a minor in Film & Media Studies (expected graduation May 2010).
Emily is president of ASU’s P.R.S.S.A (Public Relations Student Society of America) and a member of the ASU Walter Cronkite Leadership Advisory Board.
Through intensive coursework at ASU’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism & Mass Communication and working as a promotions intern for the radio station The Edge 103.9, Emily has gained valuable public relations knowledge and experience. She currently works as a public relations/events intern for 944 Magazine where she assists in promoting and planning events like magazine issue releases/social functions.
Emily also gained experience by volunteering in the press box at Super Bowl XLII and coordinating activities for the 2009 NBA All-Star weekend in Phoenix. Her writing has been featured in the Cronkite Journal, Scottsdale Republic, The Arizona Republic, Tempe Town News, ASU Web Devil and 944 Magazine. Emily is pursuing a career in entertainment/sports PR.
