Every now and then, we need something to add a bit of flair to a picture, a bit of a color shift - maybe in the background, maybe just a subtle touch. It's pretty easy for these to look contrived. I favor finding photos of light or color blurs to use as overlays and for color distortions. Coincidentally, you can find a new 5-pack of such photos here for free download, courtesy of yours truly. These are high resolution, abstract files. I'll talk about using 'em in an upcoming tutorial.
