About Me
Erica Silva is a broadcast journalist with a passion for music and entertainment.

As a disc jockey, Erica became interested in radio and chose broadcast journalism as her field of study.

Erica is currently working for her BA in Broadcast journalism at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University.

Erica was one of two DJ's in an entertainment group called VIP Entertainment and also spent some time promoting clubs in the Dallas/Fort Worth area in Texas.

So far, durring her time at the Walter Cronkite School, Erica has learned and had hands on experience with the concepts of news reporting, radio broadcast and production, shooting video footage with various kinds of equipment, editing with Final Cut Pro, Sountrack Pro and Photoshop, photography, online media, and writing.

Erica hopes to incorporate her new skills with her older ones to create great entertainment for which ever audience she may attract in her career.
