Maybe Army is a Moai who got bored just hanging out on Easter Island.

After investigating further I have found some new possible clues to Army's origin.
Is Army the lone survivor of a doomed planet? Did he have loving parents that were forced to send him away?
Did some cataclysm befall his home planet? It looks like Army is going for a ride.
