 A summer research program for undergraduates
jointly hosted by 
California State Polytechnic University, Pomona 
and
Loyola Marymount University


AMSSI is a summer research program for undergraduate majors in mathematics and related fields of application. AMSSI targets underrepresented minorities and women but the program is open to all students who fit the academic profile and who can contribute to the diversity of the program. U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required. AMSSI 2005-2007 was hosted by the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona (Cal Poly Pomona) and the Department of Mathematics at Loyola Marymount University (LMU). The AMSSI faculty are experienced mentors and researchers from both Cal Poly Pomona and LMU.
