WHAT TO DO IF YOU ARE NOT RECEIVING MY EMAILS:

First, check your spam filter. Some spam filters
store rejected emails for a week or more. Set
your spam filter to accept my emails (see below).

Some email providers do not like emails from asu.edu.
In particular, aol.com and worldnet.att.net are
finicky about accepting email from asu.edu addresses.
In addition, hotmail.com and msn.com will often
reject blind emails from ASU email addresses with no
error message to the intended recipient (all bulk
emails from ASU are sent "blind" to prevent misuse of
ASU email lists). This is a worst case scenario --
emails sometimes do get through, so the hotmail and
msn users never know when to expect failure.

Here are some suggestions for possible fixes:

(1) Make sure that your spam filter is set to accept
    emails from both

                gary.adams@asu.edu

                       and

             gbadams@aries.la.asu.edu

(2) Complain to your internet service provider that
important emails are not getting through. This
    will probably be ineffective.

A sure fix is to use your ASU Gmail account.
      This solution is highly recommended.
