3/16 On Monday and Tuesday of spring break, my email
     was not functioning properly.  If you sent emails
     to me on those days, I might not have received
     them. GBA

2/25 Due to a family emergency, I will be out of town
     for about two weeks.  Profs. John Shumway and John
     Page will be your lecturers while I am gone.  Test 3 
     will take place as scheduled.  I will try to check 
     email once a day to answer any questions you have 
     about HW problems or MP.  PS. Remember that Wed of
     next week is a double lecture. GBA

2/17 The original version of the lecture schedule
     had errors for 2/25 and 2/28.  On 2/25 we will
     do a two-hour lab, the Gas Thermometer Lab.
     On 2/28 we will have lecture as usual.

2/11 The lab due dates (beginning with Standing
     Sound Waves) have been adjusted (all to
     later dates).  Please see the lab schedule
     page for the current due dates.  GBA

1/23 The reading assignment for Monday 1/24 should
     include section 17.6 (p 427-428).

     There is a problem in HW2 in MP.  MP is uable 
     to evaluate your answers in Question 15.19, 
     Part C. So please skip Part C for now. I will 
     extend the deadline for this assignment, and I 
     will put a note on your MP home page as soon 
     as the problem is fixed.
