Please visit the 3 mirror demos at the back of the room.
   PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH THE MIRROR SURFACES. Thanks much.

CORNER MIRROR (on center pedestal): Find the 3 images (ignore
the bottom mirror). The central image (in the corner) is
double reversed, so that writing can be read normally.

CONVEX SPHERICAL MIRROR (west side): Note that the image
is upright and virtual and gets smaller as you retreat.

CONCAVE SPHERCIAL MIRROR (east side): The location of
the focal point (F) and of the center of curvature (C)
are marked on the floor.

 Use your hand as an object; when your hand is inside the
 focal point, you should observe an upright virtual image;
 it gets smaller as the object moves towards the mirror.

 When your hand is outside the focal point, the image is
 real and inverted; its get smaller as the object moves
 away from the mirror.

 Confirm the reality of the image for objects outside the
 focal point by placing a white card at a distance of about
 20 cm outside the focal point. You should be able to see
 an image of the bright lamp on the mirror side of the card.
