If you did not get to see the real inverted image projected on the card for the concave mirror, please look at it today. CONCAVE SPHERCIAL MIRROR (east side): The location of the focal point (F) and of the center of curvature (C) are marked on the floor. Use your hand as an object; when your hand is inside the focal point, you should observe an upright virtual image; it gets smaller as the object moves towards the mirror. When your hand is outside the focal point, the image is real and inverted; its get smaller as the object moves away from the mirror. Confirm the reality of the image for objects outside the focal point by placing a white card at a distance of about 20 cm outside the focal point. You should be able to see an image of the bright lamp on the mirror side of the card.
