HOW TO ACCESS LEARNING CATALYTICS

From your Mastering Physics home page, select
Learning Catalytics (the button is at the upper right,
under Dynamic Study Modules).

If you purchased Mastering with etext or a new book
package, you can access Learning Catalytics right away.

IF YOU PURCHASED MASTERING WITHOUT ETEXT,
you'll be prompted to buy Learning Catalytics access.
IMPORTANT: When asked if you have a Pearson account
during the purchase process, select "Yes" and enter your
Mastering username and password. DO NOT create a
new Learning Catalytics account. Thanks. GBA

HOW TO CONNECT YOUR ANSWERS TO OUR
ONLINE GRADEBOOK

At Learning Catalytics, click on your name in the
upper right-hand corner.

Enter your ASU POSTING ID in the Student ID space
and select Update Account.

NOTE: Your ASU Posting ID has 4 digits, followed by a
hyphen, followed by 3 digits (i.e. it has the form
XXXX-XXX). To discover your ASU Posting ID, go to your
MyASU page. Then select Profile. Within Profile, select
My IDS. Your ASU Posting ID must be correct BOTH at
Mastering Physics and at Learning Catalytics.

HOW TO JOIN A SESSION

When a Learning Catalytics session becomes available,
a red "Join Session" button will appear under Learning
Catalytics in the upper right-hand corner of your Mastering
Physics home page; you will join the session and answer
questions by clicking that button. Thanks. GBA
